7 Best concentrate vaporizers under $100 (2020 update)
Here is an expert review of the best vaporizer under $100 in 2020 that every average stoner is asking for. This article puts together the top options that you got for concentrate vaporizers by a cannabis vaping expert. I have individually tested a number of concentrate vape pens and here is what I found to be the top 7 with a great experience and most importantly, you won’t break the bank for them.
As cannabis becomes more and more popular, there has been a huge rise in people using concentrates over the last couple years. This is probably due to laws beginning to loosen up in many places, but regardless, more people are using concentrates now than ever. And with how popular vaping is, its no wonder why everyone wants to know what the best vaporizer for concentrates is. While a dab rig is cool and will most certainly get you super stoned, a lot of people are looking for portability and convenience, which is what vaporizers are perfect for!
If you are new to vaping I recommend you check out my article on The Best Portable Vaporizers, in it I discuss the benefits of vaping instead of smoking, along with some of the best portable dry herb vaporizers on the market today. Now, lets get into the best vaporizers for concentrates!!
Yocan Evolve Plus XL ($69)
To start off this list I bring you the Yocan Evolve Plus XL. The XL is a very powerful concentrate vaporizer, and has the potential to be the hardest hitting vaporizer on this list. The XL is fairly large compared to most of the other vaporizers on this list, but it is still very portable, and will fit into your pocket when you need it to. The XL also comes in 4 stylish colors, black, silver, rose gold, and white! Something else that helps the XL reach the next level in terms of convenience is that it has a compartment on the bottom that is lined with silicone that is perfect for storing concentrates!
The XL uses a 1400mAh battery, so with a full charge even the heaviest of users can probably get a full days use. You have the option of using either a quad quartz atomizer or a dual quartz atomizer as well. The quad quartz has 4 quartz rods used for heating your concentrates, while the dual quartz only has two. The advantage of the quad quartz is that it will get your concentrates hotter, meaning larger hits, and some big clouds. If you like massive clouds, and want the closest thing possible to a hit from a dab rig, the XL with a quad quartz atomizer is perfect for you! The dual quartz coil is good as well, you won’t get as big of hits, but you will notice the taste is much better, which many people prefer!

KandyPens Galaxy Vaporizer ($99.95)
KandyPens has been blowing up recently after multiple celebrity endorsements, and their Galaxy vaporizer is one of the best vaporizer for concentrates in my opinion! The Galaxy is extremely portable and will fit in any pocket or bag much like any old pen would.
One thing about KandyPens that you can always expect is a fantastic looking product, along with an excellent color assortment. The Galaxy comes in 10 COLORS, including 3 limited edition colors, gold, chrome, and my personal favorite, gun metal. It’s safe to say you will be blazing in style with this vaporizer.
The Galaxy has a decent battery life, it will typically last you around 1-2 hours of use, depending on how heavily you use it.
This top concentrate pen has three different temperature settings, red is low, green is medium, and blue is high. This can be a bit confusing, on most vaping devices I’ve used red is always the highest temperature setting, so make sure you keep in mind that blue is high!
There isn’t that noticeable of a difference between settings, and you’ll find that you can blow some pretty big clouds with a fairly small draw, which is really nice. The draws from this vape are overall very smooth, and very tasty as well.
When you purchase the Galaxy, it comes with one dual quartz atomizer, but you also have the option of purchasing a coilless ceramic atomizer separately, which I actually prefer, as it produces a more even heat for your concentrates. Atomizers for the galaxy will last a very long time, however, after a couple of weeks, you will need to replace them.
They are only $20 no matter what type of atomizer you choose, and you can purchase them directly from KandyPens website, or from Slick Vapes, my recommended and authorized retailer.
If you would like to check the Galaxy out, feel free to do so at Slick Vapes, an authorized retailer.
Dr. Dabber Aurora Vaporizer ($89.95)
They’re not called “Dr Dabber” for no reason! These guys know how to make a quality concentrates vaporizer, and if you scroll down you can see that this isn’t the only vape from Dr Dabber on this list. The Aurora is just about everything you could ask for in the best concentrate vaporizer.
Portability is phenomenal, you will have no problem keeping this in any pocket you might have. Its sleek and small frame will make it easy to conceal as well. Unfortunately, the Aurora only comes in one color, however, it is a very nice looking matte black finish, which I personally am a fan of.
Battery life is about what you would expect from a smaller vape, depending on how heavily you use it could last anywhere from 1-2 hours of use.
The Aurora has a 5-second heat-up time and has 3 different temperature settings. One thing that might throw people off a bit is that this vape uses fairly low temperatures compared to some other vapes. Therefore, you have to take longer draws if you actually want to see big clouds come out. Low temperatures are great for taste, however, and even on the highest temperature setting the taste is still great, which is rare!
The aurora concentrate vaporizers come with 3 different atomizers, which is not something most vapes come with. This is really nice as it lets you decide exactly what type of atomizer is right for you, so when you go to buy replacements in the future you know exactly what you want to get.
The three types that it comes with are 1 dual quartz rod, 1 dual ceramic rod and one ceramic halo atomizer. So mess around with it and see which one suits you best, and also keep in mind that each atomizer will last you a couple of weeks, but then you will have to buy replacements. You can pick up replacement atomizers from Dr Dabber directly, or from Slick Vapes.

Puffco Plus Vaporizer ($89.99)
The Puffco Plus vaporizer has often gotten mixed reviews from people, but it has some great features and has proven to be a good vape for many, so I’ve decided to include it in this best vaporizer for concentrates list.
The Puffco Plus excels in portability, it’s small and lightweight, making it easy to take with you anywhere. There is only one option for color, but it is a smooth looking black which looks really nice!
The Puffco Plus has three different temperature settings, indicated by the cloud on the front of the device, green being the lowest, and red being the highest. It takes only 12 seconds for the device to heat up, and the battery will last you for around 50-60 hits.
Something I’m a huge fan of this concentrate vaporizer is that this device features an easy to clean coil-less atomizer. This means there is always an even heating of your concentrates, and it is very easy to clean. If you are good about cleaning your atomizer after each use, you could easily see it last for over a month. As always, atomizers can be purchased separately from Puffco directly, or from Slick Vapes, my recommended retailer.

Dr. Dabber Light Vaporizer ($47.95)
I hinted earlier that Dr. Dabber will reappear with another best vape pen for concentrates, and here they are!
The Dr. Dabber Light Vaporizer is a great budget option for those not quite sure if they want to take the leap into the $100+ range. This vape is extremely light and portable, as you could assume from its name, and is one of the most portable on this list!
With such a small device, the battery life isn’t so good, but it makes up for it in vapor quality and taste. The concentrate vape pen is also very easy to load, and comes with a wick wrapped titanium atomizer, which works very well.
There is only one preset temperature setting, and you won’t be getting any big clouds out of it, so if you want a hard hitting vape this might not be the vape for you. But for the casual vaper that just wants a smooth hit with some excellent taste, you will be very satisfied with this vape.
If you would like to check the Dr. Dabber Light out, along with its replacement atomizers, feel free to do so at Slick Vapes, an authorized retailer.
For those of you that plan on using THC cartridges, or even CBD cartridges, then what you’re looking for is probably a 510 thread battery. So if you don’t want to worry about loading concentrates manually, and you just want to be able to screw a cartridge on, then I recommend you take a look at one of the batteries below!
For those of you that have been using cartridges for some time, you know that a battery can make a huge difference, so don’t just look for the cheapest thing, or you will be left disappointed when it comes to enjoying your concentrates.
O.penVAPE 2.0 ($30)
The O.pen battery is not only good on your wallet, but it has some amazing features for a little ol’ battery. There are FOUR different voltage settings, and once you start getting into the highest setting, you can get some big clouds and intense rips which is unexpected from such a small concentrate vape battery. There are 9 different color options, including gold and the very trendy rose gold that everyone seems to love!
One of my favorite things about this battery is that its draw-activated, you don’t even need to push a button when you draw!! And if you swipe your finger across the logo on the charger while the device is charging, it will activate rapid charge mode, which is a nice little feature as well.
If you would like to check out this fantastic battery, feel free to do so at Slick Vapes, an authorized retailer.
KandyPens Special K Vaporizer ($79.95)
The Special K vaporizer by KandyPens is for those cartridge lovers who want to take their concentrate vaping enjoyment to the next level! This vape looks amazing, and as you can see its disguised to look just like a pen, and it does a good job. Most people wouldn’t even realize that it is a vaporizer making it great for travel and when you’re out in public.
The Special K has a great battery life and charges quickly and also features three different temperature settings. When this thing is on high, it has some kick to it, so those of you that like big clouds will certainly be satisfied. The Special K also comes with a refillable 510 thread cartridge if you prefer to refill them yourself, or you can use pre-filled if that’s what you prefer.
I’d consider this battery to be more of luxury however, as there isn’t much difference in functionality between this and the battery above.
If you would like to check out the Special K vaporizer, feel free to do so at VaporNation, an authorized retailer.
I hope you’ve all enjoyed this list of the best vaporizers for concentrates! I will continue to update this list as I see fit and as I get feedback from all of you guys, so please let me know if you think there are any vaporizers that deserve to make this list!
